Thank you for your
emails. I am now
nearly 2 weeks post op
from liposuction at
Clinic Beaucare.
When I first started
looking in
November/December I
had narrowed it down
to 2 clinics in
Brussels. After
researching them
both, listening
to other peoples
reviews, reviewing the
information on your
website and
also speaking
with both clinics, I
decided Beaucare
appeared to be the
clinic for me.
Now almost 2 weeks on
I'm so pleased with
the results. I
only had 3 areas done,
saddlebags (side and
back) and knees, I'm
the
correct weight
for height just had my
fat stores in the
wrong place. The
doctor at the clinic
gave me so much
confidence as we
talked it through
before surgery.
I would happily
recommend or share my
experience to anyone
still trying to make
their mind up about
Beaucare. I'm
considering another
couple of procedures
in the future and
when researching
these, Beaucare will
certainly be on my
list to consider.

Hi, Linda,
Sandra here, we spoke
on the phone about
Clinic Beaucare for my
tummy tuck, well i had
it done almost 3 weeks
ago and its looking
really good, i arrived
at the clinic at
9.00am and by 9.45 i
was drifting off into
a 3 hour sleep! i was
expecting a bit more
pampering and
mollycoddling, but it
was straight down to
it, which i suppose
was better as i was
slightly nervous,
i woke up facing the
window as described on
your site with
pheasants &
rabbits running around
which was very nice,
the doctor came in and
gave me some
anti-sickness remedy
through my drip &
then my husband &
son was brought
in, i came out of
theatre approx 1pm and
by 4pm i was leaving
to go to the hotel,
the taxi driver was
great, driving very
carefully over each
bump on the road &
it only cost 5 euros
to the campanile, that
day i stayed in bed
but i went downstairs
for breakfast the
morning after, pain
levels were quite low,
4-5 out of 10, i was
taking ibrupofen twice
a day, and 3 days
after we went into
vilvoorde for a
chinese meal followed by shopping
in Brussels for almost
4 hours!
my drains came out 3
days after surgery
with no
trouble, I have
absolutly nothing
negative about the
clinic or the surgeon
or the staff, now im
home my own GP is
taking care of my
steri-strips &
stitches which is
really great of him,
My stomach is now flat
and with considerably
less stretchmarks and
ive even bought a
bikini for my holiday
in 4wks! ive never
owned one before this
life changing event
happened, I'd like to
a big thank you to you
for your website, it
is a great help which
made me decide on a
great clinic, thanks
again. it is well
worth the trip over to
Belguim.

I have just returned
from Brussels where I
had upper eyelids and
mini facelift done at
Beaucare Clinic.
It was a very good
experience and I would
recommend them to
anyone.
I found your advice
and the forum on your
site the best
information available
anywhere. I did tons
of research and wasn't
really happy until I
found you. I am
extremely grateful for
all your
communications and
frank advice. I have
passed on your site to
a large number of
coleauges and friends
who are considering
surgery, I honestly
believe that you offer
the most comprehensive
service to be found on
the web.

Dear Linda
It is now 3 weeks since I
attended Clinic Beaucare
(Brussels) for my breast
augmentation and I thought
I would share my
experiences with you and
your other readers. I am
also happy to respond to
any questions that people
may have by e-mail.
I found everyone at
Clinic Beaucare to be
helpful, friendly and
above all Professional.
After the initial
consultation in London I
quickly made the decision
to go ahead and booked my
appointment. Having booked
I needed to pay a deposit
of £500 by bank transfer
and I also choose to pay
the balance in this way
rather than take cash on
the day (they don't except
credit cards). This proved
to be a tiresome task but
only because my bank were
unhelpful and
inefficient.
I went over on the day of
the procedure by Eurostar
and checked into the hotel
that the clinic
recommended. It is
functional but not
luxurious. After checking
at the hotel I went to the
clinic, once there I had
to wait around an hour and
a half, which made me a
bit anxious, but once I
met my surgeon, Dr
Plovier, I calmed down.
I felt he listened
to what I wanted to
achieve and was willing to
answer any questions.
I was not prepared for
the amount of pain I was
in when I came round.
For some
stupid reason I had it in
my head that I would be
fine with a couple of
aspirins and be able to go
out to dinner that
evening. Apparently
because I had the implant
under the muscle it makes
the pain worse and the
recovery time longer. I
was able to go back to the
hotel after a couple of
hours and I spent
that night almost sitting
up in bed as lying down
was very painful.
The next day my
train was not till 5.30pm
so there were a few hours
to waste after I had
checked out of the hotel -
with hindsight I would
have booked a lunchtime
train so that I could have
got home to my bed
quicker.
It took about a week to
get back on my feet and
return to work, but now
three weeks on I am
feeling great and I just
cant wait to get this
straight jacket
(supposedly a sports bra)
off. You have to wear it
day and night for 4 weeks
and then just during the
day for a further 2
weeks.
The results are looking
great although I am
looking forward to trying
on some new bras and
wearing the kind of tops I
have never been able to
wear before. I have gone
from an A cup to a C so it
is quite a shock having a
shape.
If I was going to do this
again there is very little
I would change, I would
certainly recommend Clinic
Beaucare whole-heartedly.
I would however be a
little more prepared for
the first week when I
really could not do
anything. My partner
was very good about
shopping and cooking but
at the end of the day he
will never be able to
match my standards of
cleaning so I have to
except more dust around
than I would like.
