Hoodectomy (sometimes
called clitoroplasty or clitorodotomy), the surgical removal of the clitoral
prepuce (the hood), with the result that the clitoral glans(the tip of the clitoris) is left permanently exposed.
This procedure is undergone as elective surgery for the enhancement of sexual
response.
