I’m working on a Channel 4 film
about the experiences of women in midlife. One area we are particularly keen to explore is body
image and self esteem. We are therefore keen to speak to women who are have
reinvented themselves by having an image change.
Far from experiencing a midlife
crisis, we want the film to reflect the fact that many women in middle age are
more youthful, independent and outgoing then ever before. This warm and thought
provoking programme will be presented by actress and writer Sharon Horgan, who
at 43, is worried about ageing and is considering cosmetic treatments. We are
therefore very keen for her to speak to someone who has benefited from cosmetic
treatments and who can explain why they feel more confident in themselves.
The series will be made by North One Television - a BAFTA and Royal Television
Society award winning production company - based in London. We specialise in
intelligent, innovative and compelling documentaries and factual entertainment
programmes and are part of the All 3 Media Group, the UK's leading TV production
group.
